Technician working on a control module

Coding and module repair

Modern cars run on control modules, small computers that manage the engine, gearbox, lights, brakes and comfort features. We code them and repair them.

Bring it in if you notice

  • Warning lights that come back after they're cleared
  • A feature that stopped working after a part was replaced
  • A new part that the car won't accept
  • Electrical faults that come and go

What coding means

Coding is changing a module's settings with dealer-level diagnostic software. It does two jobs:

  • Switching on or adjusting features the car already supports.
  • Adapting a replacement or upgraded part so the car recognises it and it works properly.

What module repair means

When a control module fails, the car can throw warning lights, lose a feature or refuse to start. Module repair means finding the faulty unit and fixing it instead of replacing it straight away.

How it works

We scan the car, find the module involved and explain what we found. You approve before any work starts.

Ready when you are

Tell us the car and what it needs. We inspect, explain, and you approve before any work starts.
