ECU tuning changes the software in the engine computer. We check the car's health before any tuning.
Health check first
Tuning asks more of the engine, so it has to be in good shape first. We scan for faults and check the basics before we change anything.
What tuning changes
The ECU controls things like fuel, ignition timing and, on turbo cars, boost. Tuning adjusts those settings.
What it can affect
More power puts more load on the engine, gearbox, clutch and cooling. It can also affect fuel use and the maker's warranty. We'll talk you through what applies to your car.

Will tuning void my warranty?
It can. Check with the dealer if your car is still under the maker's warranty, and tell us so we can talk it through.
